New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’

Hornsby Shire Council has begun supply of the primary edition of a new council journal, free publication to all residents of the Local Government Area (LGA).
Titled ‘Our Council’, the publication is to be delivered quarterly to mailboxes all through Hornsby Shire and includes updates on main tasks, information on services, native history and sustainability along with contact data for the Shire’s Mayor and each of its 9 councillors.

New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’  says the publication ensures that each one residents of the Shire feel knowledgeable and up to date on Council projects.

“To regular customers of the online and digital devices, receiving a printed publication in the mail would possibly look like a hark again to the previous.

But as a diverse and inclusive group, it’s necessary that Council information and information reaches all residents, not just those who frequently use social media,” stated Mayor Ruddock.

“Now more than ever, residents of the Shire anticipate to be saved updated on precisely how their charges are being spent and what we are doing to deliver well timed and efficient tasks and services, and to have their say and help us form the future of our Shire.”

The first version of the publication contains updates on tasks at Hornsby Park and Westleigh Park, newest waste and recycling news, Council’s efforts in mitigating vital road injury over the earlier years, and maps current upgrades and new builds delivered for the community.
